Vermont EMS Conference

The Vermont EMS Conference returns March 6–8, 2026 at the University of Vermont’s Davis Center in Burlington, bringing together EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, nurses, physicians, educators, and EMS leaders from across Vermont and the Northeast. With more than 50 educational sessions led by national and local experts, the conference offers a comprehensive look at the full spectrum of prehospital care - from trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies to obstetrics, operations, leadership, and clinical decision - making. Rooted in the realities of both rural and urban response environments, the program emphasizes practical skills, thoughtful problem-solving, and the importance of strong teamwork.

In addition to the core program, attendees can participate in immersive preconference workshops including high-fidelity mobile simulation, obstetric emergency response training, competency - based instructor development, the Zombie MCI tabletop ICS exercise, Skills Instructor training, and PHTLS certification. Whether you are new to the field or a seasoned clinician, the Vermont EMS Conference is an opportunity to sharpen clinical practice, build confidence, share experience, and connect with the EMS community that defines and supports emergency care throughout our region.
